Thank you Andrew for your message. Yes the statistics are terrifying. My two daughters have done Krav Maga lessons. Maya my eldest is very tough we used to train together and I always ended up with bruises on my arms and legs. I live in Seoul, South Korea which is the safest country I have been. Still, doing martial arts is a way of life here. In the international school where my daughters go, every year they have a semester of self-defense classes for girls as part of the PE curriculum. It is my Krav Maga instructor who give those lessons on the school site. I think it is a great initiative that should be replicated in other schools. The feedback from the girls have been very good. All felt more confident in their ability to defend themselves one way or another if they had to. Go girls, you can do it!
