To have a whole bunch of high profile politicians fly over to Glasgow in their private jets to talk about Climate Change, how to reduce gas emissions and the absolute necessity of phasing down fossil fuels is the epitome of hypocrisy. Planes cannot fly without fossil fuels. Once everyone manage to phase down or phase out of the fossil fuels industry how is the world gonna operate? Planes, cars, bicycles cannot operate without tyres. What do you need to make tyres? Fossil fuel. So if everyone on the planet stopped using their cars and start riding their bicycles to the office and to go on errants, how are we going to change our tyres when they are worn out if there are not fossil fuels available? I guess we can walk instead.
